Specifies dimensions, properties and materials for bar-type rolled or forged fishplates for use with steel rails rolled in accordance with AS 1085, Part 1. Dimensions, tolerances and materials requirements are included. Full development profiles are given for rolled fishplates for 31, 41, 47, 50, 53 and 60 kg rails and for forged fishplates for 50 and 60 kg rails.
