Specifies requirements for ultrasonic cleaners with a cleaning solution capacity of more than 30 L, which are intended to clean reusable medical and surgical equipment used in health care facilities. The Standard does not cover ultrasonic cleaners specifically designed for the cleaning and disinfection of endoscopes. Guidance on information that should be supplied with enquiries and orders and on care and use is given in appendices.New products
