Deals with the safety of electric room heaters for household and similar purposes, their rated voltage being not more than 250 V for single-phase appliances and 480 V for other appliances. Some clauses of the 2007 edition have an application date of 25 November 2007 which are indicated by a marginal bar in the appropriate place.
