Sets out requirements for the design, installation and operation of electric emergency evacuation lighting systems for buildings, so as to provide visual conditions which will alleviate panic and permit safe evacuation of the building's occupants, should this be necessary, in the event of failure of the electrical supply to the normal lighting.
